About Rooted Honor
It was never about willpower.
Change that lasts starts at the root.
The Founder
Meet Dr. Dre
Very few dietitians also hold a Doctorate in Health Psychology, the science of how thoughts, emotions, and behavior shape the body's health. Dr. Dre is one of them. That rare pairing lets her treat both the physical and psychological factors: the nutrition your body needs, and the beliefs, feelings, and pressures that shape how you eat.
A lifelong athlete who has worked alongside Olympic and professional athletes, she understands how easily performance, pressure, and food become tangled. For more than 15 years, her work has spanned eating disorders, body image, and performance nutrition, and she has helped build nutrition and wellness programs across the country.
Her workbooks are written for anyone ready to change their relationship with food and their body, and her Professional Companion Guides help the clinicians who support them. Both are built for change that lasts.
Our Purpose
Why Rooted Honor exists
In clinical practice, Dr. Dre saw the same pattern again and again. The people who changed for good did not start with a new plan. They started underneath, with the beliefs, habits, and emotions quietly driving their choices.
Rooted Honor brings that work beyond the therapy room. It's the same clinical approach, carefully translated into workbooks and guided programs, so anyone can begin where lasting change actually begins.
The Rooted Honor Method
Root. Honor. Rise.
Root
Recognize your patterns.
Honor
Respect your body and your needs.
Rise
Grow into lasting change.
